Hey guys! I'm planning a costume party for my birthday (my birthday is 2 days after Halloween after all) and I would LOVE some decoration and food ideas. I'm dressing up in traditional Scottish clothes from the 1700's in my clans hunting tartan (green plaid with red, blue and white) and am planning on having it outside, weather permitting of course. There will be children there between the hours of 6-8 and after that is completely adult time! Woo! Party! I would love to invite you all but unfortunately, many of you live too far away and some wouldn't have that much fun with an old fuddy duddy like myself. Take care and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

Woot Sam! Finally a new post!!!! That sounds really cool! And Happy Birthday, in case I don't have the chance to say it when the day arrives. I've always wanted to go to a costumes party! Although I don't do so well at parties...I don't like being in large groups of people, makes me feel awkward. Hmm, as for decorations, is there a theme that you where thinking of doing? Like make your place look like a castle, or something else (i dunno, I have really bad ideas). Do you want it to look like a Halloween party or a Birthday party? Food isn't that difficult, it's always good to have small finger foods, then you don't have to worry about having to seat all the people you invite. Are you going to have activities for the kiddies? Like games or something? I dunno if this will help, but I tried! xD And I am sure you are fun to party with! I would totally go if I wasn't so far away, and in a different country.

Oooh, that sounds nice! I have never bobbed for apples, but it has always intrigued me My mom and sister carved our pumpkin last night. They carved a witch into it, it looks awesome!

Mmmm, hot caramel apple cider.....*drools* That sounds really yummy! Is it your own recipe?
The baby pumpkins are adorable. When my family went pumpkin picking we always got a couple little ones to put around the house.
