"Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka, It's about a man who woke up one day transformed as an insect after a long nightmare, and develops a story that tells how the world changes around you when you're different , along with some ironic comments. Roz, I read a graphic novel (can't remember the name or the author ) But it was about how people perceive things when they have a different point of view as to the one they usually had. The graphic novel was about this blinding flash of light that turns humans to 6 inches tall (although this isnt how they were drawn in the comic....it was more like they where smaller then bugs...). So we have to adapt to life at the bottom of the food chain. Unfortunately the drawings where very inaccurate, but the story was interesting.

Nope, Evan I haven't read them, or even heard about them...What are they about?
I have WAY too many books to read on my list already, but I love to always have a book on the go!

Aww, this thread died? D: That is so sad.... <3s books! I am reading a really awesome series by Terry Brooks called the Sword of Truth (at least I think that is the name of the series). I am currently reading the 4th book of 11. It is a great epic novel, and if you love fantasy, you should really check it out! I am quite enjoying it. The only downside is that I read really slowly, and the books are all about 600-900 pages long...so it will take a reeeeeally long time to finish. Also, with me back on Dofus, I am not sure I will be reading as much now-a-days! Lol.

Wow, Snuggs...I only just now realized that the Sword of Truth in the first post is the series that I am currently reading! I would have to agree with you...they are SO GOOD!! I am on the 6th book in the series called The Pillars of Creation. (Not sure if you remember individual books or not )

I do, and "Pillars of Creation" is a very hard read, I think it's one of my least favorite out of the series. However, it's worth getting through.

Hmm I'll have to check The Sword of Truth out sounds like a good read! Yeah I love my fantasy/sci-fi, can't put books down lol Yeah, fantasy/sci-fi is awesome...The Sword of Truth is really good. My bf recommended it to me, and I am glad for it. To Snuggs: Yeah, I am not much liking the Pillars of Creation, but I need to read it to move on in the series, so I guess I gotta suck it up My favourite book so far is Faith of the Fallen.

Faith of the Fallen is one of my favorites too!!! So is Stone of Tears, although it wasn't until I started re-reading the series that it became my favorite. I've reread it so many times!

I can't wait to see how the series ends! And all the good stuff that leads up to it. I'm not sure if I have already recommended it here, but I will mention it again...another good book that I absolutely loved, was The Host by Stephanie Meyer....it was such a nice story. (And no, it's not lame like her Twilight saga... >.>)

I actually really enjoyed reading The Twilight Saga, I just don't enjoy the "hype" around it. I've heard the host is really incredible too. Man what I would give to have a kindle! *sigh*

Lol, so you can cram a whole bookshelf of books into a tiny protable device? That would be cool, although I don't know about digital books...I really like the smell of books, and turning the pages...as well as seeing the progress you have made.

I used to say the same thing Devi. Until I got a kindle. I seriously love it and I have read 10 times more in the year that I've had it than I normally ever had in a single year. Currently working my way through the works of Kurt Vonnegut and the Game of Thrones series.
<3 my kindle!
