Congratulations Ni! We are now level 49!!! Only one level until we hit 50! When we hit 50 we can get a new house and another paddock, not to mention more members! While we rush towards level 50 you will be working towards an epic prize for an epic guild level!
The person to earn the most experiance for the guild from level 49 to level 50 will win 50 polished diamonds!!!
The screen captures of current donations have been taken. When we reach level 50 new screen captures of experience will be taken and the individual who donated the most wins this epic prize! Experiance donation is per account, not per person. We will not combined experiance from different characters played by the same person. Alternative characters in the guild are not eligible in the competition. For example I could not use Taceflavoredkisses to earn the experience and have Snugglicious win the prize.
There are more events and games to follow! Let the level 50 Blitz begin!!!

Aren't level 200 people going to win this hands down?

That would be a risk, if we actually had any level 200 people. There is a level 199 char, but taking up this task would force them to sacrifice a chunk of their momentous grind towards 200 - a decision they have to make (and appear to already have, since I see their xp donation is set to 0% ). Keep in mind you also add to your guild exp tally by stealing the exp other guilds' percs have acquired (via their death, of course). And that while the massive wisdom high levels can pile on allows for huge... tracts of exp, the closer one's level matches the guild level itself, the higher the percentage of what they actually offer to the guild gets tallied in that window. more info: dofuswiki.wikia.com/wiki/Guild#Guild_Experience

Yes, but the higher level obtains more xp in total so theoretically the donation done exceeds any level 50 person.
Just saying, it's not that hard to have one alt of many sacrifice 90% in continuous souls. Also I'm willing to bet something of greater value than 1 kama that people will read what you said and actually start foirming perc killing parties. And leaving out the low levels. Hoora.

Nice idea for an event leading up to the big 50. And what a generous prize. Everyone will have to choose between their character and the guild. Should be interesting to see who wins. My money would be on the brave perc killers who solo and get lucky with low/no defenders. Just remember our alliances.

Thank you for your concern Sandy, but as of yet it looks to me like those taking up the challenge are mains. I wouldn't be too sure about leaving out those at the lower end of our guild level range, either. You are welcome to log on, see how the guild is doing and try your luck.

I would like to point out that in the contest rules that alternative characters do not qualify in the contest.
Sandy the whole point of this contest is for the guild to work together towards a very impressive guild level. It's not about just the prize. I would hope it would instill pride in your own guild and wanting to work towards a common goal. I would appreciate it if you would discontinue the continuous negative outlook.

I assume you mean me? lol
If everyone gives me 2 POLISHED diamonds i will NOT participate:))
Yes I am aware of the contest and I have made the decision to stand by and allow others to amass mass exp. I'm currently at 70% and have already donated a pretty nice chunk of exp, so I think it's best for me personally to Get the last 30% before anything else. (May sound greedy, but it's what I want! dammit!)
But yeah should be a close contest! Ni Represent!

This is a very monumental event for Ni indeed. Reaching lvl 50 is a wonderful thing and there aren't many guild who could claim that fact right now. I'm glad to hear that an event has been brought forward to help ring in the new level. I'm sorry i'm going to miss it actually. I have read all the comments and I do have a few questions. I know there are rules, well stated on the use of alts and such, but I can see the down side for some of the lower levels on this as well. Is there perhaps a way that there could be categories for the levels to kind of level the playing field for those who can't do the hard grinding? Take myself for instance. I would not be able to do any of the major dungeons or souls on my own, being lvl 105 or is it 104? Dunno. I'm slightly buzzed so bear with me. I would have to join groups that were doing thing to gain the xp, which is fine but not always an easy thing to do. Also are you going to base the xp gained on percentages and not actual numbers? I'm actually kinda curious on this because I sucked at math so figuring these things out really do interest me. I'm glad google chrome has built in spell check. hehe... ok back to focusing. This will be a very close contest as Joshie puts it and I would like to see who wins, but I'll be sad to miss the main event of Ni hitting 50. Miss you all greatly. <3

It is a legitamate point to raise, but difficult to control for. High levels may have a slight advantage with the passive donate, but as Cotton pointed out the math is complicated so I don't know if this is strictly true or just my impression. The ones with the greatest advantage are perc killers where it doesn't care for your level, just the xp the perc has.
I'll sweeten the pot and put up a second prize for... Um I'm not sure, I was going to suggest % change from before 50, but new members with 1 xp donate would have huge advantage. So give some suggestions for criteria. As for prize it will be a combination of boss souls, scrolls and stuff, I'll just have to see what my stocks are.

Ok writing a goodbye to Bruce gave me an idea. A sort of king/queen of Ni.
We are a guild full of long time loyal members who have contributed greatly to the guild and the development of their guildmates.
So I would suggest that we give an award to one lucky guildie. It could be that another member nominates someone and says why they feel they should win, nominations would eventually close and then there would be a forum poll to choose the winner among the nominees. The prize would also include the rank of Chosen One. I think that present and past leader/SIC should be exempt (sorry folks).
Let me know what you think or if you have a better idea.

I like that idea of a contest. And how come I can't be Queen. *pouts* Also I was planning on doing a 2nd (and maybe 3rd) prize so we (SiC +) can discuss that further. Remember there will be other contests and events, this is not by any means the only one. There will be other ways for people to get great prizes!

To be honest I think this entire thing should of been kept in secret, that way you would of had a more realistic % from everyone at the end. Not saying everyone thinks this way but I know someone(s) might read about the prize and go "time to set myself to 90%" and no it's not for the 'guild' its about the reward. But anyways I've been f2p for quite a bit and doesn't seem I'll be getting it anytime soon. So you can count me out. Pre-congrats on level 50 to us.

hm Well it helps the guild and they get rewarded for sacrificing a huge chunk of exp. From what i can see the leaders of the contest are loyal members not just a ringer. So gogo:D
