Chicken & Asparagus something or other...
Ingredients: boneless chicken breasts canned of asparagus spears a few cans of condensed cream of mushroom soup grated cheese
Preparation: Spread some soup on the bottom of a baking pan or casserole dish. Lay your chicken breasts evenly on the bed of soup. Drain the asparagus. Place a layer of asparagus over the top of your chicken. Cover with another layer of soup. Bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour at 325°, or until hot and bubbly. Put the grated cheese on top towards the end of baking so your cheese does not burn and let it melt.
Notes: Feel free to substitute another cream soup if your wife doesn't like mushrooms and go ahead and hide the asparagus under the chicken if your kids won't eat it!

i have a question. what makes cooking at home fun?. don't u guys find it annoying, that u have to get up and wait around for food to boil etc.?
i mean when i worked at my dad's bar and grill and such i enjoy cooking there, b/c its for the customers and its fun. but at home, i like to lay back and relax. Is it just me? or what...

I like making food that is way better than I am going to get anywhere else. Noone is going to marinate a salmon fillet for two days for me, make my chicken and asparagus dish, make a birthday cake shaped like a volcano with edible hard candy lava or make sweet and sour chicken totally from scratch. I cooked everything from scratch for my daughters' birthday luau a couple years back and it was a hit! The only fish my family ever ate and liked was the salmon that I caught in Alaska and brought back. I still need to perfect my pizza dough but it is totally fresh and from scratch as well.

And AiDs I find cooking as soothing as meditating. Nothing like a bottle of wine, some music and makeing homemade spagettie and meat balls, that Ilet cook all day. And then if I feel up to it making homemade pasta. Some of the best times I have spent with friends is cooking a meal together. Although I need to work up to Rosh's level of awsome.

lol rosh's level of awesome haha thats great yeah i dunno, haha best times with friends for me is playing video games against each other online :/ but i think i get watcha mean. i guess its just something that like never was given to me as an opportunity. Like the wya i grew up, was very fast paced, never time to cook, like eating dinner with family and such happened maybe once a year. Most of the time we all ate by ourselves, even as a toddler, i would just eat cereal or fast food, and that was it, then i would go off and watch tv or play games. So whenever someone would cook i didn't enjoy it much b/c i was accustomed to fast food (sounds weird) :/ Plus i get bored way to fast haha off topic here, but whsts really weird is my parents are having ther 25th anniversay this weekend, so i fly back to michigan and have to do a toast at "georgios"(some best rated restraunt in the toledo/detroit area), and i have no idea what to say. I've never seen my parent slike together, my dad works 18+hours a day, my mom is always off running errands for him. like they are there for me, liek when i call them, but never had that relationship that u always here about, like parents all lovey dubby together, and such haha!. so its going to be weird to do a toast :/ and i'm going to see my younger brother also, whom i haven't talked to and hung with in prob 7-8 years. and he's 18 now, so alot of akwards stuff haha but any ideas whati should say to my parents? i mean they've provided me with money, cars, homes etc. i just don't know what to say :/

Oh I was chewing a piece of gum the other day and I thought of you AiDs...because I got bored chewing the gum in about three chews. Also as far as how to give a toast to your parents. I would come up with something rather generice...maybe look up what the traditional gift is for 25 years and run from there. i.e. year one is a gift of paper...you could spin off about the contract of love they both signed...yada yada yada.

(may also be b/c i don't really chew my food, i just swallow.. always been told i never take the time to chew, but if i do, i get to bored chewing) i'm weird No you said you get bored chewing, and I got bored chewing too. Just made me think of you and what you said. Edit: From what I found on google about the 25th wedding anniversary gift is silver. Maybe an analogy on even when silver tarnishes it can be buffed into a beautiful shine? Or is that to corny? Anyway hope it helps you Adrian!

I hate giving speeches and such. My general rule is that I suck at giving them, so I don't try and write a epic ground breaking speech. I keep it short and pretty basic. Not that you should take my advise cause my speeches are never that good, but they manage not to be tragic disasters.
And as far a cooking. I love to cook, but only when it is not me. On my own I just can't be pissed to make an effort and do what is easy. And rosh I have a fantastic pizza dough recipe, I'll find it and post for you.
